Pitching tips
Preparing to pitch at Pitch Quest? Here’s what judges are looking for.
What's your game about? What experience are you trying to capture? Describe it in two sentences with vivid words that make the judges want to play it.
Your game concept alone isn't enough. Show skills, grit, and passion. Showcase your portfolio and how your team works together effectively.
Help judges quickly understand your concept. Compare key elements to popular titles to connect the dots. Context makes unfamiliar ideas accessible.
How does one play? Show core mechanics clearly. Visuals through prototype capture and flow charts help. Use demos, videos, or prototypes to illustrate.
Who is it for? How big is the market? Think about age, interests, platforms, and gaming habits. Show there's demand for what you're building.
Which platforms are you releasing on? How will you compete and monetize? Show how your demographics research informed these decisions.
What do you need from the C-Tribe x Gaming network? Funding? Feedback? Publisher connections? Make it clear and concise.
Your pitch starts a dialogue. Be prepared to answer questions and go deeper. Having backup slides for the Q&A period will help most.
